Milanese style powerhouse Prada has officially unveiled its redesigned flagship at ION Orchard, blending state-of-the-art Italian design with a modern flair. Spanning over 1,200 square metres across two levels, the new space captures the essence of the iconic Prada aesthetic—understated minimalism, bold simplicity, and timeless elegance—making it the perfect setting for the brand’s women’s and men’s collections of ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear, accessories, and the exclusive Prada Eternal Gold fine jewellery collection.
The store is marked by a striking curved glass façade featuring Prada’s signature triangle pattern, offering a welcoming, panoramic view of the chic interior. Inside, geometric flooring takes centre stage, reminiscent of the original flagship store in Milan’s prestigious Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping arcade. Opened in 1913 by Mario Prada, the Milan flagship was designed to embody quality craftsmanship, with the triangle symbolizing luxury—an emblem that has since become synonymous with the brand. Under the leadership of Mario’s granddaughter Miuccia Prada, the brand expanded from its origins in luxury accessories to a global style icon.
The store’s design features a striking contrast between the black-and-white marble chequered tiles—an iconic detail associated with Prada—and the brand’s signature pastel green walls, known as “Prada Green,” complemented by 1950s-inspired green velvet furnishings. This elegant design mirrors the interiors of Prada’s other boutiques worldwide.
True to the brand’s vision, each section of the boutique offers a unique, intimate experience that contributes to Prada’s narrative of luxury, artistry, and exclusivity. The ground floor showcases the men’s ready-to-wear collections, leather goods, and footwear, while a sculptural, curved staircase leads to the first floor, where women’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear, accessories, and lifestyle items are on display. The first floor also features a dedicated area for the Prada Eternal Gold fine jewellery collection and a Made-to-Measure area for personalized shopping experiences.
