Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025: Standout Looks
Chanel's 110th anniversary haute couture collection blends youthful energy with timeless elegance, showcasing sophisticated tweeds, pastel colors, and luxurious details, while paying tribute to Gabrielle Chanel's vision.

This season marks a significant milestone for Chanel as the house celebrates its 110th anniversary of haute couture, making it the world’s oldest active couture house. True to its legacy, Chanel’s Creation Studio marked the occasion by emphasizing its artistry and craftsmanship, blending lightness and youthfulness with carefully selected materials, vibrant colors, and fresh silhouettes. The collection felt like a refreshing shift—an artistic pause after Virginie Viard’s departure last year, before Matthieu Blazy takes over in a few months.
Held at the heart of the Grand Palais, Chanel built a stage in the shape of double Cs, which also formed an infinity symbol—a meaningful gesture, as the spring/summer 2025 haute couture collection focuses on Gabrielle Chanel, her vision, and her ideals. Joyous pastels in delicate fabrics were anchored by strong monochromatic tones, sophisticated tweeds were paired with minimalistic short-suit looks, and embroidered chiffons, sequins, and pleated details highlighted Chanel’s timeless yet liberating codes. Below, we showcase our favorite looks from the collection.
A true homage to Coco Chanel’s signature style, this two-piece ensemble, with wide-legged trousers and a subtle inner shirt, is effortlessly chic. Covered in pastel chiffon panels atop sequined camellias on a cream base, the light reflects off the fabric in a way that creates a stunning visual treat.
This airy creation is a light-as-air silk chiffon tiered dress in dreamy pastels, adorned with delicate feathers and accessorized with matching sheer gloves. Upon closer inspection, precious gems line the feathered portions, thin straps, and even the buttons on the gloves—minute yet significant details that add a touch of sparkle.
Crafted in a delightful blend of pistachio, mint green, and gold tweed, this short-set perfectly embodies the phrase “more than meets the eye.” While the youthful silhouette and color palette are fresh, the luxurious details, including finely crafted buttons and crystals, add an elevated touch.
Inspired by Coco Chanel’s fascination with astrology, the crystal-embroidered flounced sleeves were designed to resemble the solar system—a magical touch. In line with her belief in women’s freedom of movement, the shorts feature vents for ease and comfort.
Ideal as a wedding dress, with or without the sheer topper, this drop-waist dress with an embroidered top and pleated tiered skirt is both dreamy and practical. Picture Gracie Abrams wearing this on stage, strumming her guitar and belting out her hits, adding a laidback cool to this sophisticated design.
In haute couture, it’s all in the details. In addition to classic tweed elements, the billowy sleeves of this piece reveal embroidered stars and tiny crystal camellia flowers, perfectly complementing the petal-like cuffs.
